What is the meaning of Executive Management?

“Executive Management” in sense of HR consultancy means the highest organizational leadership level of any company. Those managers are often appointed by the supervisory board and are responsible for operational day by day business. Those executive teams could as an example consist of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Operating Officer (COO) or any respective functional-, country specific- or regional specific- responsibility. Some synonyms for „Executive Management“ are e.g.: „Upper Management“ or „Senior Management“.
