Head of Sales Central and Eastern Europe (m/f/d)

Main duties:

  • You define and execute the strategy for the territory which includes DACH region, CZ, SK and PL.
  • You understand the top products of current portfolio and develop short- and mid-term tactics.
  • You conduct market analyses to determine where and how to develop the most profitable business.
  • As a coach and captain of the commercial local team, you are setting the direction and drive results. You define new personnel and resources that should be implemented to increase success.
  • You build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • You support distributors at end-user level, manage the funnel of opportunities, and understand the needs.
  • You are a member of the Global Leadership team.

Experiences / Skills / Personality / Education:

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working as a sales leader and developing an in-field team of professionals who are held accountable for delivering profitable sales results.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to work with business leaders within an organization, and to manage multiple concurrent projects, customer-focused, results-driven and committed to high quality. .
  • You are experiences selling value-added consumable products into industrial and retail spaces through distribution in an international, multicultural environment.
  • You have already developed excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly effective networker and team builder with a positive, proactive attitude, flexible and goal oriented.
  • You have strong decision-making and implementation capabilities, have strong analytical skills and are able to transform financial data into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable traveling more than 50% of the time within the region, as well as regular trips to the USA.
  • Education in economics or technical education with a solid background in sales.
  • Business-fluency German and English, other languages are welcome.
